Armenian Churches in Turkey

Armenian Studies Program California State University, Fresno, CA

Our tour, through Armen Aroyan, was not a typical tour of riding busses and seeing the highlights of a country.  This tour was with a small group of Armenians whose ancestors were from eastern Turkey.  We visited some of the typical tour areas, however we spent most of our time visiting the villages and towns of our ancestors.  Armen had many surprises for us including churches and villages which are rarely seen by outsiders.
Our tour group was as follows
Armen Aroyan (Tour director):  Check Armen's web site for tour and Pilgrimages info
Jemal (The best driver in the world)
Guler (Jemal's wife)
Sona Boyajian  (Dikranagerd)
